When planning for this interior renovation we decided to relocate the existing stair, from its original location between the Dining Area and the Kitchen to a more convenient place, behind the Entry Hall closets. This in turn, allowed us to implement a very open, more fluid floor plan.

A detailed approach to the planning of this interior renovation, plus our coordinated on-site work with the contractor and its trades, allowed us to create a new kitchen island by running all water supply, sanitary and vent lines underneath the floor, parallel to the existing joists without interferences.
